One of the important events in the forth annual Russian-American Roundtable was a one-day seminar for college and school English instructors, “Innovations in Theory and Practice of Teaching ESL in High Schools and Colleges”.
Several topics were discussed and presented:
- key elements of language skills’ forming,
- drama and role-play in language teaching,
- innovative methods of teaching English,
- links between language theory and methodology of its teaching,
- multimedia technologies in foreign language teaching.
